Week 1 - Feb 12

Welcome to Denver!
"Please refrain yourself from taking your seatbelt off. The plane will be taxing momentarily. The local time is 4.55pm. Remember, if you plan on staying in Denver a while, please be sure to pick up a bullet-proof vest as you can't be sure of those crazy cowboys out there".

Well if only the flight attendant actually informed me of this, then I may have stayed in California instead. Well I'm not sure if that's any better.... Anyway I've made it through the first week without any major injuries, except for a few blisters on my feet from all the walking, trying to find a decent apartment that will withstand the severe snowstorms here. The locals inform me that this is of course "particularly unusual" for Denver....hmm!
