Finally made it!

What an incredibly satisfying week it has been for me. Finished up on a few pressing projects which I was extremely happy about, then went out to watch a fantastic play with a group of colleagues from the health sciences center. Even the dean of the School of Nursing was out enjoying a night on the town!

I competed in my first ever tri-race on Sunday and after a 750m swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run, I can finally say I'm an entry level Triathlete! It was sooooo much fun, well this was obviously not what I was thinking during the race. Anyway, I'm ecstatic that I was finally able to achieve this personal goal of mine, of which, was to first conquer my fear of the open water swim. Hmm, I noticed that the photographers didn't take any pics of me during the swim. I guess they got sick and tired of waiting all morning for me to finally get out of the water....... No doubt, this is just the beginning of many more races to come!
