Week 6 - Mar 19

Greetings,

It's been a pretty slow week in the office. Students had their "spring break" which is equivalent of mid-term break, so many faculty staff were away at conferences or simply took leave.

Have been somewhat bored, but I guess it's been great to finally have a relatively easy work week. Have been working solidly on updating training documentations and also meeting with a few staff that have been around this week.

My weekend was fanstastic. I went to watch the "Frozen Four" college ice-hockey game Saturday afternoon between Minnesota and Air Force, and was seated 11 rows from the front. Literally every 5 seconds, a players would be rammed into the glass screen by another player. It's rough sport, but definitely an exciting game. Unfortunately I didn't bring a camera, as cameras were not permitted inside, but as usual, there were people that defied the rules. Minnesota ended up winning 4-3.

Sunday morning, I went for hard bike ride for about 3 1/2 hours through some hills. The weather was stunning, mid 20's again. I'm trying to ride a different path/trail each week. There's definitely no shortage here!
Afterwards, I went straight to Red Rocks to test out my new camera. It's definitely become one of my favourites spots so far. To view some pics, click here.
