Week 5 - Mar 12

Greetings,

It's been a pretty hectic work week. Have had numerous requests from faculty staff in the School or Nursing requiring assistance with their online courses. There are approx 70 staff, which is probably equivalent of just the Clayton campus. All is going well. So far I haven't seen any exemplar online courses. It seems most staff are quite resistent to technology, which is no surprise to me. I will continue my pursuit to influence them the best I can.

I have been discovering some fantastic places in Denver. Spent the weekend at Red Rocks, which is a park with an enormous outdoor amphitheatre. Wow, it is totally breath-taking. I wish I had my camera with me. I guess it's an incentive for me to go back again next week. Hopefully I will have a camera with me. The amphitheatre is situated between these rock formations. There are also some trails around, which I can't wait to tackle next week, or when you guys come out to visit!

The weather has been fantastic, 24 degrees celcius. I've managed to fit in a few runs and bike rides, but am still struggling with the high altitude. It's definitely put things back in perspective for me, I need to get fitter! There are a few bike races I want to compete in over the summer, so I better start my training.....
